就在几天前，微魔向大家报道了需要远离DedicatedMinds这家的内容（传送吧，少年），昨天，微魔就收到了这家的邮件，宣称正式更名为SturdyVM（下文充电学英语~），当然也附赠了一些促销。但是微魔还是那句老话，“不推荐！”。因为目前来看，这家的恶评已成定局，前一阵子倡导两周的客户中心无法访问以及VPS宕机问题已经引起了包括微魔在内的很多用户的不满，而此次“诚实”的更换马甲，看起来也并不讨喜。至于为何更名，官方的解答是要上线新的服务和机房，但因为新泽西机房的迁移拖延，因此新品牌也一直拖到现在。关于这个解释相信大家见仁见智吧，因为WHOIS一下这家的新域名就知道，注册时间是2014年4月30日，现在也不过10+天…

We are proud to announce the launch of our individual VPS brand called SturdyVM as of 15th May 2013 all VPS related services that were hosted under our parent company Dedicated Minds Limited have been rebranded under our subsidiary SturdyVM.com this includes all Unmanaged & Managed VPS solutions, as well as backup plans. The rebrand will enable us to extend our current rate of growth by introducing a new line up of services & locations. Unfortunately due to our New Jersey migration being delayed at the beginning of this year so was our initial launch of SturdyVM.

I would like to note that there isn’t any hardware changes neither network everything is staying the same minus a few extra updates which are coming into place for the benefit of our clients.

As we’ve rebranded our VPS services there is a new url in which you can access your VPS control panel along with your billing area.

New Support Team & Support Options:
Over the past few months there was a decline in the response times in some situations with our VPS services, due to our business previously being a mixture of solutions were now able to provide a dedicated team managing your technical requests over at SturdyVM. This will enable better response times than seen previously along with additional coverage over the weekends and the option for live support throughout the weekdays.

New Payment Methods:
We’ve introduced newer payment methods such as the following:

New Website & Billing Area:
We’ve finally launched our new website under SturdyVM, something we’ve been waiting to put live for sometime now. Our billing area has also been updated to provide a much cleaner UI for our customers.
Your VPS Control panel (SolusVM) will undergo a redesign this week which will also feature a very nice integration of our client area. Our network page will be updated shortly.
